The sixth publication of Davidson History Journal is a multimedia special issue focusing on historical memory. The edition has two parts: one part that includes student work on memory from various academic disciplines (“Memory is the Future”) and another featuring work from the course HIS 301: Making History, taught last spring by Profs. Dietz and Guasco. The editorial staff would like to thank Davidson’s History Department, all contributors, and the publication’s adviser, Dr. John Wertheimer, for their assistance in creating this volume.
